Web Design

We aim to make the Web Design process as easy and straightforward as possible. During this process there are 5 steps that we follow. To summarise briefly please see Figure 1. below, a further explanation of these main points follows at the end of the page.

Web Design Process

  1. Project Scope and Requirements Gathering - this usually takes the form of an informal discussion outlining the requirements for your site, your expectations and any other information you feel is important for us to complete our task. This could be imparted knowledge on how your business operates so we can use the same logic in designing your site. Here we can outline the time lines for completion.
  2. Wireframing, Prototyping, and Concept Designs - using the requirements gathered from our initial meeting we'll set about creating a basic wireframe outline. It usually functions like an animation storyboard, where we step through how a user will interact with your site. We do this so we can identify how best to present the information on your website to your audience. Before proceeding to the next step we ask for signoff that you are happy with how the intended website will look and function. Parallel to this step we would recommend that you the client spend time writing the content for your website. As a guide you should use site layout as defined during the first step.
  3. Implementation - when you are entirely happy with the look and feel we'll proceed to this stage. This is where the HTML, CSS and Graphics are designed and put together to form the basis of your website. We would then ask for a copy of the content you'd like displayed so that we can wrap it all around your site and put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
  4. Review - Once we're happy the implementation is done we'll provide you with a test copy of the website for review. If anything needs to be changed prior to the launch date this is the time.
  5. Launch - after all the previous steps are completed, this is the final step, putting your site live on the web for all to see.

I like the new version of Opera. Quick, nice UI, always love the features. Very impressed with the Linux version.
