IE8

THURSDAY, 5TH JUNE 2008

With the recent enough release of the IE8 browser I decided to upgrade, and attempt to view my website. The only reason I decided to even upgrade was the fact that it allows you to switch the rendering engine back to IE7. Not like I opt to use this browser too much, I still have to make sure all my sites are viewable in all browsers.

The results were interesting, it looks like a small bit of javascript on my homepage cause problem when rotating the image, causing the image and content to break the div's. I will investigate why this is happening.

Also, I have installed IEs4Linux. It is quite handy as I now opt to use Ubuntu Linux at home and I really like it. So it is great to be able to design websites and still have an IE browser to test that it works.

I like the new version of Opera. Quick, nice UI, always love the features. Very impressed with the Linux version.
