Company Background
Wolfhound Media Design is a newly started venture, founded in 2006 by Harry McKillen. Harry has acted as a freelance web developer since 2002. During this time he has accumulated a great deal of experience working in different work environments on a number of different projects. Through operating in this free role I have gained a lot of experience with many of the latest technologies used in web design today.
A strong area of the company's focus is web accessibility. In 2006 Harry spent a number of months working for the Department of Education & Training, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia while traveling. In this role he adhered closely to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), using them to ensure that web sites his colleagues designed validated against these set out guidelines.
Harry's background is in computer science. Having graduated in 2005, he took a year out to travel and "find" himself, which didn't really happen, but he managed to find his way back home all the same. Upon returning he pursued a postgraduate study in the area of Entrepreneurship Management with the intention of always setting up his own small (at first) web design company with the aim of eventually developing full web-based applications. With his previous knowledge and newly acquired business sense, Wolfhound Media Design has a great deal of experience behind it.
Imagine my surprise when a college project from 6 years ago doesn't work in Firefox, or IE7+ for that matter. Those were simpler times.
